We are so excited to be participating in the Norwich Independent Book & Zine Fair this year! Come say hello on 18 May 2024 between 9.00 and 17.00. We will be the second table on the right – by Marzanos. Why not pick up our newest book while you’re there to enjoy with a nice cuppa? We will have special pricing for all our print books on the day of the fair!


It’s that time of year again! The National Centre for Writing is hosting the City of Literature Publishing Fair at Dragon Hall on Sunday 26 May from 10.00-16.00.

Drop by anytime during the day to meet the amazing publishers of the East of England. There will be lightning talks throughout the day as well as books for sale, publishers to talk to, and fellow creators to meet. The perfect Sunday for anyone in the literary field!

AMARANTHA: LIVE

Saturday 25th June 2022 @ The Millenium Library, Norwich

5PM – 5.45 PM

Come join us to celebrate the magical music of Amarantha! Listen to the author, E. R. Traina, perform the soundtrack live with a full band, and bring this wonderful fantasy novel to life!

Saturday 14th May 2022 @ Anteros Arts Centre

Come and visit our booth at the Norwich Indie Book Fair, Saturday, May 14th from 10 AM to 5 PM. We will be on the first floor of the Anteros Arts Centre. We will be answering any questions you have about Kurumuru Books, publishing, translation, etc., selling books, and hearing pitches. Hope to see you there!

Please note that the Arts Centre doesn’t have any parking. The nearest car park is Colegate Car Park, Golden Dog Lane, NR3 1HS, just a short walk away.

Drop in and celebrate the vibrant independent publishing culture of the East of England. Meet the publishers, browse and purchase their work, and take part in a series of lightning talks throughout the day. The perfect Sunday event for writers, readers, editors and creators of all kinds.

SYP UK’s On the Map series highlights publishing in areas outside of its regional branches. Tune in on November 12th when Kurumuru Books co-founders Leah Tanaka and Ella Micheler join leading publishers in England’s first UNESCO City of Literature, Norwich, to discuss indie publishing.

Saturday 6 November @ Bookbugs and Dragon Tales 17.30 – 19.30

Come help us celebrate the launch of Amarantha at one of the loveliest bookshops the UK has to offer!

There will be complimentary Mediterranean drinks and snacks available, as well as the option to order hot and cold beverages from the Bookbugs baristas.

The author will perform selected songs from the book’s original soundtrack, after which there will be a short reading, a Q&A, and book signing.

Books will be available for purchase (and pick-up if you’ve preordered via our website).
